Ballerina von Brey (Bella) is a gorgeous 2 year old Dutch Sheperd. She is a wiry and energetic lass who still has some puppy left in her! Her background is somewhat of a mystery (like most rescued dogs) but, since being fostered with 2 other WGSR alumni, she’s begun the long climb out of her shy and fearful past and is becoming more socialized and trusting. Balla will look to you for support in public, requiring minimal correction because of her desire to please, so she’s very good on leash. She learns the use of a doggy door quickly, knows some basic commands, is getting used to catching treats and alerts at the fence line and to squirrels. Don’t leave your tasty leather shoes out, get her a chew toy! She has blossomed into a dog with above-average energy and would enjoy agility or nose work activities. Gentle and sweet, Ballerina will do great in a patient home (better if she has a canine buddy) with a nice yard, in an atmosphere that will take the time to nurture her to become a “prima ballerina".
